Subin Kumar Mitra, a first-generation entrepreneur, founded Groyyo in 2021 with a clear mission: to empower over 20 million micro-manufacturers across Asia. His journey began as an analyst in 2018, and by 2019, he had transitioned into a senior analyst role. But his breakthrough came after a conversation with a small factory owner, who shared the struggles that many small and medium enterprises (SMEs) face, like procurement challenges and financial limitations. This inspired Mitra to start Groyyo to bring solutions to these common problems.

Groyyo helps SMEs by offering both financial and technical support, giving them the chance to work with international brands. Today, the company has a global presence in key markets like the US, UK, Turkey, and the UAE. Mitra proudly shares, “We’ve successfully served over 460 customers, including well-known brands like Next, Inditex, and Mango. We’ve also set up production capabilities in Bangladesh.”

In 2023, Groyyo grew rapidly, both in exports and software solutions, despite tough market conditions and limited funding. “We carefully managed our working capital and expanded our consulting and tech services,” Mitra said.

Looking ahead, Groyyo has big plans. They aim to enter new markets like Indonesia and Vietnam, and they plan to take their innovative software solutions to a global level, continuing their growth and impact on the industry.
